this app should allow negative stars. This is the worst place I ever rent. the water is cut off very often all day. windows and door are old and let air come in and out in general every rhing is old (that make you pay more in your utilities bill. when service is required, the only service person doesnt know or got poor experience how to fix or repair. BEFORE SIGN A CONTRACT. ASK TO SEE THE APARTMENT YOU WILL GET. Otherwise they'll give you a junk place.

This place is horrid. DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!! They have water damage so bad that the ceilings cave in. Not only do they have the orange mold but BLACK MOLD as well. Black mold if your unaware can cause serious problems with your body and can lead to DEATH. Go look it up yourself. After discovering water pockets formed between the wall and the paint, and the sagging ceiling we informed the office. All they did was slice the pockets open and let the water drain and said Monday they'd fix the ceiling. WEEKS and WEEKS to MONTHS and MONTHS go by of constantly reminding them of the water damage they refused to fix it. Finally the ceiling gave way and water came rushing down, wasn't just a puddle of water but running constant water. You'd think then they would have come to fix it but they didn't. Flooded carpets and floors, not to mention the many new black mold spots that continued to grow. After two days of rushing water all over the place they finally turned off the water. I tried posting pictures as evidence of this horrific ordeal whatever reason they weren't approved. There is one picture of the hallway its hard to tell but the carpet is saturated and another semi showing one of the many sliced open water pockets and orange mold growing. (funny they didn't approve my picture of the ceiling caved in or the many black mold pictures). Better to be homeless than live here as black mold can and WILL kill you if its not taken care of, not to mention weeks of saturated carpet they claimed they would come have professionally cleaned, which also never happened. In their contract they had to state that if there are any damages by mold to your property that YOU are liable and yet they won't fix a freaking thing when clearly the ceiling is about to cave in. You cannot hire an outsider to conduct a mold test its against their contract. If THEY feel it is necessary they will get their guys to do it and you may or may not be not be billed for the test to be done. Well if they didn't think a sagging ceiling full of water leaking from who knows where was worth the trouble what makes you think they care about spending more money to have someone come conduct a mold test that's going to force them to actually make changes and spend more money getting it fixed? This place is THE WORST place I've ever lived. They tell you they will fix things and even after several months and several reminders and two straight days of water rushing from the ceilings they still didn't fix one thing.

I thought slumlords were a myth. When my wife and I first moved to Salt Lake City, we had to move quickly because of her job. We didn't have a lot of time...

So glad we moved! Our water was turned off AT LEAST once a month since we moved in to just "patch" their water problems rather than fix it! There were "CAM" charges that made no sense and we're raised without explanation each month since we moved in, supposedly to cover cleaning expenses of the complex in the summer and salt to be thrown on ice in the winter! There was mold, cockroaches and mice, from time to time and I would not recommend this place to anyone!

I rented here from 11/2012 until 08/2013. On the day we moved in, we were told we were signing a lease for the exact same townhome we had walked through... that was the first lie. The day we signed in, the stove and fridge were both non-functional and filthy. The toilet upstairs was overflowing. Several of the outlets and one lightswitch didn't even work. We tried so hard to get out of the lease but were unsuccessful. We complained at least twice a week for the next 9 months about the leaking ceilings and bad plumbing and nothing was fixed. Finally, in late August, my husband and I spent a weekend with family in Ogden. We got back to the townhouse at 11PM on Sunday. ALL of the doors and windows were wide open, and as soon as we got out of the car, the smell of damp mold hit us. The apartment was totally flooded on both floors. All furniture and books and guitars... ruined. We also discovered that the flood began on Friday night, and the maintenance guys had left all our doors and windows open all weekend. No one called to tell us. In addition to the flood, we also had over $6000 worth of stuff stolen because our apartment was left totally open to everyone. our non-water damaged items were left where they lay. Thank God for Allstate, who had us covered. But Gisela Moyer argued with me, first saying we had to finish out our lease in a trashed apartment, then that we still had to pay at least September's rent. We didn't in the end, after we had an attorney call her. But she made it a month-long hassle just to get our deposit back. Stay far away. It's cheap, but it is an honest-to-God ghetto with a slumlord running it.

This has to be one of the worst apts around. They show you the nice model then get you to sign a lease. When you go to you apt ITS TOTAL JUNK.There is mold throughout the apt the tile counter is missing tiles plus black mold between tile cracks. In 6 months the water has been off 15 - 20 days. There has NOT been hot water for 3 days straight. It just dont get much worse then The 500 Townhome apts.
