The apartments seem extremely enticing online, theyre very attractive on the inside. They offer some fun amenities such as the fenced backyard. BUT. BUT⦠Do not even get me started. I moved in earlier this week. The process of getting the lease agreement set up wasnt too bad, but there were instances where management took hours and hours to address concerns via email and inquiries I had. Moreover, I drove to the complex to meet with management and the door was locked. The maintenance lady explained she stepped out. I understand obviously, she most likely needed to take a break outside the office. Three or four days pass, I visit the office again because I have now moved in at this point and there are ROACHES. FLIES. GNATS. DRAIN FLIES. Maintenance addressed my concerns quickly, they said theyâd send an exterminator in ONE WEEK..it is NOT okay to live in these unhealthy conditions for an entire week but I decided to make do. They said theyâd send a cleaning lady to my apartment unit to clean. She came in, wiped the inside of the cabinet where I observed the cockroaches, left and didnt even close the kitchen drawer. Felt very negligent almost. That, I can digress from. The building felt like slums, trash everywhere, grocery bags, trash, dirt everywhere. Disgusting. Neighbors were being disgusting and smoking cigarettes, isnt this a smoke free community???????, their windows were tinted with that disgusting cigarette tint . Unit had this strange smell. A door opened and I was able to see into my neighbors apartment and it was absolutely horrendous. I am extremely appalled with the conditions of the building Ive moved into. I genuinely feel like the management are slum lords. I thought slum lords were not real but here they feel that way. The grounds are kept clean. The apartments seem well kept from the outside but it is not. The doors in my home do not close. The unit I moved into was dirty. The hard wood floors were littered with remnants from outside, grass, leaves etc. Iâm happy to adjust my review and rating should these concern be addressed and remedied as soon as possible. I think my advice for management is to impose strict restrictions on the conditions of peopleâs homes. I know itâs not conventional to dictate how people keep their homes but when its affecting the liveability of anotherâs home and their space, it becomes an extremely delicate problem. It is not fair that my living conditions need to suffer due to the disgusting habits of another and their negligent attitude towards their ability to keep their home in decent conditions. Please remedy the pest problem as soon as possible. This is unacceptable!!!!
